Modern urban agriculture has made new achievements in ensuring the supply of vegetable basket products, promoting the development of new industries and forms of business, deepening rural reform and promoting integrated development between urban and rural areas in recent years, the meeting said. The construction of cold chain logistics for the storage and preservation of agricultural products is a major rural construction project and a major driving project for modern agriculture. Last year, the pilot project achieved practical results and achieved a good start.

Based on the overall rural revitalization, modern urban agriculture should ensure high-quality supply of vegetable basket products, tap the versatility of agriculture, upgrade agricultural brands, promote scientific and technological innovation and create demonstration models for comprehensive rural revitalization, the meeting stressed. The storage and preservation of agricultural products cold chain logistics should focus on the origin of "the first kilometer", rely on new agricultural operation subjects, take engineering construction as the starting point, innovate mechanisms, improve policies, strengthen supervision, promote construction with high quality, and actively integrate into the new development pattern.
